It’s been a pretty cool ride. The connections I’ve made and the learning I’ve got out of it have been ridiculous. I did the math and we are up year over year in overall revenue compared to pre-COVID about 30-35%. Plus for services revenue, which is where we make our money, we’re actually up 55%. The crazy thing about it, is it’s with the stuff I’ve learned and the help from my mentor that life is actually easier than it was a year ago.
What to expect?
Catalyst members are growth-oriented business builders. Some of the key membership components are outlined below.
Monthly Forum (Required)
Your forum of 6-10 inspiring, local entrepreneurs is much more powerful than a typical networking group; this is a strong peer group who openly share in a 100% confidential and emotionally safe environment. The intent is to ferret out and focus on the “5%” issues i.e. the extreme highs and extreme lows that only another entrepreneur would truly understand, appreciate, empathize and be able to help with. You can’t get this anywhere else.
Mentorship (Required)
Being part of Catalyst means that you will be paired with an EO mentor for a powerful learning opportunity.
EO is a tight, supportive and helpful global community of over 14,000 fellow entrepreneurs. Catalyst members can leverage their association with EO both informally and through formal mentor relationships with successful entrepreneurs/EO members. The Catalyst member presents their plans to grow their business and their challenges. The EO member provides insights, direct advice and introductions. The Catalyst member is accountable for completing actions agreed to with their mentor.
EOS - VTO (Required)
The Entrepreneur Operating System (EOS) is the brain child of EO member Gino Wickman and is a powerful, but relatively simple business scaling model to implement when you’re short on time. All EO Catalyst members agree to adopt the EOS “Vision Traction Organizer or VTO” so that we all speak the same language and learn at the speed of the group. Periodically your forum will enjoy a seasoned EOS entrepreneur guest speaker who will share success-fail stories and their own EOS-adapted tools.
Learning Events (Optional but crazy to miss)
Catalyst members are entitled to attend up to four EO learning events each year (EOVI hosts at least one a month). Plenty of other informal and family events are also available to members. These are all high quality; a combination of fun/social events with world-class speakers.
Access
What or who do you need right now but don’t have time to find or vet? Catalyst membership connects you to some of the Island’s top entrepreneurs doing business around the world. If you need someone farther afield, it’s likely that a full EOVI member will reach out on your behalf as Catalyst members don’t have access to EO Global’s 14,000 member contact database.
Path of Leadership
Are you the leader you need to be to achieve your goals? Not many of us say 100% yes. Leadership is a lifelong art form and EO offers an incredible opportunity to learn the art alongside accomplished entrepreneurs who are dedicated to learning and growing. All volunteer based – you start with contributing as forum moderator, then as a Chair on our Catalyst Steering Committee, then after graduating to full EO membership on our chapter Board or as an event officer, then chapter Board Executive leadership, then regional subject matter expert, then regional Council, then global Board. Go one step, or all the way…it just depends how big you want to build your world and your growth

Vision 2024
It’s June 2024 and the EOVI Catalyst program has 25 Entrepreneurs under $1 million in revenue who are seeking to learn and grow. This year we had 3 Catalyst members graduate to EOVI and they’re excited to stretch their wings further. Way to rock-it graduates! EOVI Catalyst is becoming known as the best program on the island to connect to the wider world of entrepreneurs and launch your business past the $1 million mark.
Every Catalyst member is paired with a mentor, usually EOVI members, and the whole crew is using the EOS Traction framework in their businesses. The EOS common language and mutual support is a wind in everyone’s sails. In September Catalyst held their retreat on kayaks in the Broken Island Group and hosted Verne Harnish, who float-planed in, for a powerful afternoon session on the beach. This year the Catalyst learning program will build on EOS specific presentations every other month from EOVI members and select invites from the community. And Catalyst members are getting huge value and network access from the EOVI chapter learning events they are invited to–no wonder Catalyst has a 100% participation rate!
A recent Catalyst member survey suggests overwhelming agreement that what they are receiving from the program is essential to their growth and success. This is our tribe!!!!!
